Year 6 are invited to bring in their Confirmation outfits and some cakes/sweets on Wednesday afternoon so we can have a class photo and eat lots of cake to celebrate whilst making our stain glass windows.
Congratulations, Year 6, on your Confirmation Day.

The children really did themselves proud today. They continued to act with such reverence and maturity as they made their choice to become an adult member of the Church.
They have all been on such a journey already this year – both spiritually and personally – and it filled me with immense pride to see them all making this next step in their faith.
Thank you to all parents, friends, family and the parish for your continued support throughout their preparation for Confirmation.
I hope you all have a lovely day celebrating with your loved ones!

Our reporters gather to prepare their questions for interview
Year 6 are ending their literacy unit for this half term by watching The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas this afternoon, in their pyjamas of course!

They have had a fabulous start to the Spring term. We can’t quite believe we’re half way through the year!
Have a happy half term!

Thank you to all those who have brought back your reply slips and money for Mad Science Club.
It will now definitely be running and the first session will begin Wednesday 15th February at 3.15pm.
There are still places available so I will leave it until the end of today to confirm numbers with them.

Last week, Mad Science hosted an assembly to the whole school to advertise their exciting after school club. Children were given letters to take home and we received 11 eager reply slips. However, for this club to run, there needs to be 15 children. Therefore, unfortunately, if we do not have 15 scientists signed up by Friday 10th February, we will have to cancel the club and all monies paid will be refunded. If you would like a new letter then please ask your child to collect one from me. If you have already paid, we will keep you updated.
Thanks
Mrs Hartwell
This morning we were lucky enough to receive a visit from Atomic Anna from Mad Science who wowed us all with some really cool science experiments.
Mad Science are hoping to run an after school club on Wednesdays for 6 weeks commencing on the 15th February 3.15-4.15pm.
Children in years 1-6 should be coming home with a letter today with more information. Please note the club can only continue with a minimum of 15 children but there is also a maximum of 25 children so places will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
If your child is interested in taking part, please return the reply slip to Mrs Hartwell in Year 6.
Thank you!
Today, Year 6 enjoyed their third session from the Wildlife Trust in which they learned all about bees and their habitats.
Ask them what they found out!
Year 6 enjoyed their second session from the Wildlife Trust today in which they learned all about bats and their habitats.
Ask them to tell you what they found out!
