Year 6 had enjoyed their first session with the wildlife trust today in which they learn lots about birds and even made some feeding strings with Cheerios. Have a little look at the pictures and ask them what they learnt!

Year 6 have begun their Boy in Striped Pyjamas unit this week which they were all very excited about. For the Christmas holidays they were set a task based on ww2 for their homework. Needless to say I was astounded by the huge amounts of effort put into this. Feel free to pop into our classroom after school on Wednesday (18th) for a little closer look.
Well done Year 6!

I hope you have all had a fabulous Christmas holiday and a fantastic start to the new year.
Thank you all so much for our kind Christmas cards and gifts – we really do appreciate it.
We are extremely looking forward to to the busy term ahead and your safe return tomorrow; and hope you all are too!
See you tomorrow,
Mrs Hartwell
Year 6 showed their support for anti-bullying week by creating posters with positive messgaes to display in the school and around on the playground.

This evening, Year 6 were quizzed on their knowledge of their chosen saint by their parents and teachers in preparation for their Confirmation. The children wowed us with how they handled the pressure of the quick fire questions, the knowledge they have learnt since completing their research project and the pride they showed in displaying these.
A huge well done to Year 6 and a big thank you to all those who came along to make this possible and so much fun! See some of the photos from this evening and the positive feedback from both the adults and children.

Thank you to everyone who supported us in buying a ticket!
Year 6 have been investigating whether light travels in straight lines. Ask them what they found out!

We are now at Telford services, due to set off again at 12 so should be back at school on time (approx. 1.15pm).
After an amazing few days away full of adventure, laughter and precious memories, Year 6 are now on their way home! 🙂
