We pray for Pope Francis, bishops, priests and deacons, especially Fr Michael and Deacon Paul. We pray that all members of the church will be servants to one another and show the love and peace of our Saviour, to all.

Let us pray for peace in the world: that the message of Christmas will turn the hearts of men and women away from violence and hatred and towards justice and reconciliation; we remember especially the war-torn countries of the Middle East and the victims of the terrorist act in Berlin.

Let us pray for everyone who is homeless this Christmas; for refugees separated from their families, and for those who are distressed and in need: that they may find God’s love for them in the care and friendship of others.
