Before you try to do this please make sure you have downloaded google meet from the app store – it is completely safe and free to use. Google meets will be announced in the stream section of Google Classroom, please check here daily in case any new meeting are been scheduled.

  1. Go to the stream section of Google Classroom
  2. Click on the Google Meet announcement
  3. Click on Class Video Meeting
  4. This should then take you to the Google Meet App
  5. It’s important to turn off the microphone,
  6. Then click ask to join – you will then have to wait until the class teacher is ready to admit you.
  7. When the meeting has finished please end meeting – the teacher can not leave the meeting until everyone has left.
