If your child has to complete their work in their exercise books then a photo of this work will need to be taken once finished and added to the ‘My Work’ assignment. This can be added in two different ways – you can use whichever you find easiest. A guide and video of both methods are available below.
Adding to the assignment
- You will need to make sure you have Google Docs downloaded.
- Click on the work your child needs to complete.
- Click on ‘Your Work’ at the bottom of the screen
- Click on on the document you wish to edit
- Click on the box with an arrow in it.
- When it has loaded click on the pen in the bottom corner of the screen – this will allow you to edit
- Click on the + symbol at the top
- Click image
- Click from camera and allow
- Take a picture of your child’s work – if you get an error retry.
- Add as many pictures as you need
- When you have added all the picture click on the tick in the top left corner
- Then the x to return back to Google Classroom.
- Then press back arrow
- Click on Hand In
- If you need to add more photos after handing in the work you can unsubmit – add the extra photos and then resubmit the work again
Adding as an attachment
- Click on the work your child needs to complete.
- Click on ‘Your Work’ at the bottom of the screen
- Click on add attachment then take a photo
- Take the photo of your child’s work
- If you need to add more photos then you can following the same process
- When finished click hand in
- If you need to add more photos after handing in the work you can unsubmit – add the extra photos and then resubmit the work again.
