Make sure you have outdoor kit and sensible outdoor trainers.It may also be an idea to invest in some gloves as it does get quite cold, the best ones to wear are rugby gloves which have ‘sticky palms’ to help grip. They range from £3 upwards – and do come in other colours inc pink!,(see image) . 
Netball at Primary School allows both girls and boys to play netball and follows the ‘High 5’ format where the squad of 7 players are rotated each quarter. 5 players on court with 1 player time keeping and 1 player scorer. This gives everyone (girls and boys) an opportunity to play in different positions, there’s no wing defence (WD) or wing attack (WA). Its a highly skillful game and can be played at a fast speed. Good catching and throwing skills along with spacial awareness is the key to becoming a good player. During training we work on these skills to improve your game.
