Year 6 have been writing their own biographical poems to get them back into the swing of writing. We are so pleased with the amount of thought and effort they put into them.
Although they were all fabulous, here is one of my favourite:

Child of Martine and Dean
Who loves his football, family and friends
Who dislikes ungratefulness, impoliteness and lies
Who wants to go to mysterious and curious places
Who wishes to enjoy every single moment of his life
Who is scared of growing up
Who dreams of world peace – to stop the wars
Who is determined to make the best out of life
Who values all the time spent with his family
Who spent the last few weeks of primary school finally enjoying it
Who is proud of working hard and is improving
Who lives in Coventry with his parents, brother, sister and unborn baby sibling.
