Today we were lucky enough to receive a visit from Deb and Wendy who are volunteers at the Cats Protection. We learned all about how to look after a cat, including how to provide proper nutrients, how to ensure they feel safe and even some fun tips on how to play with a cat safely! We heard about some real-life rescue stories and learned about the importance of taking cats to the vets for their vaccinations and to be micro-chipped.
We really enjoyed our morning today and we learned so much about cats and what the Cats Protection do to help animals in need. Next week we will be putting our knowledge to the test by writing information texts for how to care for cats!
