Well done to all of Year 5 for their lovely Remembrance Day assembly on Tuesday! They all did really well reminding us of the sacrifices that were made for us during World War One and since. We had a two minute silence at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month to remember the people who have died in war.
We also had another session of Ukulele with Mr Evans on Tuesday instead of Thursday, because of The Skills Show. We are all really enjoying our sessions and improving our skills weekly! Thursday soon came around and we were all super excited to be going on a trip with Year 5 to the NEC! We walked to Canley Train Station and waited patiently for our train!
We really enjoyed traveling by train, for some of us, it was our first time!
We all had lots of fun at the NEC, exploring stalls to learn about different careers, playing games, talking to career staff, etc. Some of us even met Theo Paphitis from Dragon’s Den…
We ended this week, with a beautiful Remembrance Day family mass at Church on Sunday. Thank you to everyone who took part or came along.
