A huge thank you to Emma, Christian’s mum, for being our VIP reader this week and introducing us to the tongue twisting story of cave boy, Glog!
We loved listening to you read your chosen story and thank you for donating it to our class library!
Thank you to Lukas, Joseph and Jonah who reminded us in today’s class liturgy what it means to be GRATEFUL and GENEROUS.
Year 6 welcomed another ‘VIP Reader‘ into our classroom this week… Roisin McCourt from Free Radio and it is fair to say the children (and adults!) LOVED it!
Roisin chose to read us her children’s favourite book, ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’, talked to us about her role on the radio, shared some of this week’s favourite moments and answered the (1,000,001) questions we threw her way.
Thank you, Roisin!

Year 6 have had a fantastic start to the new academic year, settling back into learning well and really rising to the different roles and responsibilities that this year has to offer. We are so excited for another brilliant year, filled with lots of fun, laughter and amazing memories already being made!
Year 6 and Reception had a lovely afternoon getting to know each other! They found out who their prayer friends were and had the opportunity to play together outside. It was lovely to watch so many new friendships blossom and see how well our Reception children have settled.

Year 6 loved their first Dance lesson back with Mrs Cooke this year… they have some great moves!
We celebrated our first family Mass this Sunday with the theme ‘Love and Correction’. It was lovely to see so many of our families there; our family masses will be celebrated on the first Sunday of every month.
Thank you to our Year 6 readers and altar servers who were wonderful role models.
Today, we came together as a whole school to celebrate in our first school mass of the academic year. We prayed for those affected by the earthquake and how even in the darkest of times, we are blessed.
Thank you again to our readers and altar servers in KS2 and all the families who joined us today.
Year 6 were very excited to welcome their first VIP reader, Caz Frear, into our classroom today.
Caz Frear is a British mystery fiction novelist and chose to share with us a snippet about the Great Train Robbery from ‘The Crime Book’ by Peter James.

Thank you, Cazz!
*If anyone would like to share a snippet of their favourite book with our lovely Year 6 class one Friday afternoon, please email me to arrange [email protected]
