And just like that, the darkness has passed and the light conquers.
Wishing you all a blessed and happy Easter.

Today marks the beginning of the most important few days in the Church’s calendar. Starting on Palm Sunday, we have been journeying through Holy Week whilst on our Easter break. We hope you have managed to take some time to enjoy time together, relax, rest as well as reflect on this special time of year.
During his Last Supper on the night before he died, Jesus gave us the gift of himself when he took bread and wine and said: This is my Body. This is my Blood. This is me. The Bread of Life. Food for the Journey.
As Catholics, we believe that part of Jesus is within each of us. We are his hands and his feet. With everything currently going on in our world today, remember that how we treat those closest to us is a reflection of how we expect to be treated. Take time today to think of those who give themselves to others so that they can live. To parents, to emergency workers, to aid workers, to those protecting the most vulnerable, thank you for all you do.
If you wish to attend mass today, the mass at All Souls Church begins at 7.30pm with solemn watching until midnight.
The Nursery children celebrated an early Mother’s Day inviting their mummies, nannies and aunties to share tea and cakes. We sang songs and gave them gifts to let them know how special they are to us.
Happy Mothers Day to all.
Just a reminder about the competition to design a cardboard tube book character. Bring in your creations from Wednesday next week ready for judging on Friday!
We have been exploring the season of winter in Nursery. We have been making snowmen, snowflakes, making trails in snow and exploring the animals who live in the snow and cold. We have also been matching numeral to quantity in our mathematics sessions.

The children came back excited to tell us all about Christmas. We shared our news with our friends, We are this term exploring Winter, Our Feelings, Floating and Sinking and consolidating numbers to 5. We have made snowmen, snowflakes and explored small world snow play creatures. The are hoping they see some real snow outside soon!

Wishing all of our children and families a very

We visited the church today for the Baptism of Baby Thomas by Father Paul. The children were the parents and the Godparents and found out all about what goes on during the service and why. Baby Thomas was given a Baptismal Candle. Thank you Father Paul for helping the children understand the Sacrament of Baptism.
