Year 2 really enjoyed working with a partner, taking turns to read and listen to each other. So lovely to see such super team work!

We are inviting children to come into school tomorrow, Tuesday 10th October 2023, wearing a hat of their choice (the funkier the better!) to raise awareness for Mind’s ‘Hats on 4 Mental Health‘ campaign!
If you would like to donate to our local charity, Coventry Mind, please do so via the payment link available on School Gateway.
*Please note full uniform must be worn*
Year 5 have been working really hard this week writing their own canticle inspired by St Francis’ Canticle of Creation.
This morning Year 5 shared their Canticles with Year 2 to help them celebrate the Feast Day of St Francis.

All Souls is delighted to have pledged its support to this year’s Anti-Bullying Week, which runs from Monday 13th – Friday 17th November.
Anti-Bullying Week 2023 is coordinated in England, Wales and Northern Ireland by the Anti-Bullying Alliance. This year it has the theme ‘Make A Noise About Bullying’ and will take place from Monday 13th to Friday 17th November. The week will be kicked off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 13th November, where adults and children wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique.
We will be sharing more information closer to the time, outlining the ways in which we will be supporting this year’s campaign.
Today we said goodbye to our wonderful Deputy Headteacher, Mrs McGrath, in a whole school offering of prayers. We wish her all the best as she begins her maternity leave and jeep both hr and her husband in our prayers as the arrival of baby gets closer. Although we can’t wait to meet the new addition, we will miss seeing her every day! We love you, Mrs McGrath x
A huge thank you to all of our wonderful TAs for being incredible!
We are so very lucky to have you x
They searched for items around the forest floor and used their imaginations to create faces. Once complete the children enjoyed visiting the ‘forest floor faces’ gallery and making comparisons.
We celebrated our first family Mass this Sunday with the theme ‘Love and Correction’. It was lovely to see so many of our families there; our family masses will be celebrated on the first Sunday of every month.
Thank you to our Year 6 readers and altar servers who were wonderful role models.
Today, we came together as a whole school to celebrate in our first school mass of the academic year. We prayed for those affected by the earthquake and how even in the darkest of times, we are blessed.
Thank you again to our readers and altar servers in KS2 and all the families who joined us today.
Ms Croarken, Mrs McGaffney and I are super proud of how well you have all settled into Year 2 and getting to know the new systems and routines we have already started!
We worked hard as a team to create our class rules making sure we are all clear of our ‘magic 5’ and added these to our class display.
Part of developing our rules was understanding that they are ‘class’ rules not ‘classroom’ rules, so we tried them out in the forest school area which was great fun!
We had so much fun doing the ‘Shimmie Shake’ dance and even Mr Cooke, Mrs Hartwell and Mrs McGrath joined in! What a hoot!
We learnt a little bit about Saint Francis, our class saint. We also went to the prayer garden to say a prayer and had a go at singing his prayer – Make Me a Channel of Your Peace.
On Friday we celebrated Mary’s birthday by colouring in a stained glass picture, saying the ‘Hail Mary’ and making a flower to share with someone we love.
All in all a great start! Keep up the hard work children!
Enjoy a few picture’s from last week!
Today we celebrated International Literacy Day to highlight the importance of literacy and raise awareness for education as a human right.
We took a moment to consider how grateful we are to have our wonderful school and teachers to help us to learn to read and write before taking our class book outside and reading together on the field to share this wonderful gift together.
