In RE, the children worked in pairs and interviewed each other as if they were a disciples. They asked lots of questions, including why did they chose to follow Jesus.

We would like to make parents aware of a free service that is available to support children and adults for whom sleep and sleeping routines are a problem.
At any given time up to 40% of adults and 50% of children (this rises to 80% with a SEND diagnosis) have difficulties with their sleep. Yet, surveys suggest that almost 60% of adults feel that there was a lack of support for sleep issues. Sleep problems can leave people feeling isolated and lonely.
The National Sleep Helpline is run by trained sleep advisors, many of whom are specialists in working with SEND. They are able to young people directly, or parents (they can also talk to adults, including older people, about their sleep issues).

This term Year 3 has been learning to code using scratch. They have explored how to create and code sounds and finished by creating their very own discos. Yesterday they looked at movement in Scratch and how to control a sprite (an object). They created their very own simple maze game and used their previous sound knowledge to add background music. Below are a few examples of their work.

We are inviting children to come into school tomorrow, Tuesday 10th October 2023, wearing a hat of their choice (the funkier the better!) to raise awareness for Mind’s ‘Hats on 4 Mental Health‘ campaign!
If you would like to donate to our local charity, Coventry Mind, please do so via the payment link available on School Gateway.
*Please note full uniform must be worn*
Year 3 had hot chocolate in forest school as they listened to the ‘Impossible Boy’. The children decided ‘Sebastian Cole’ probably wished he went to All Souls’. What a lovely end to the day!
