This half term, Year 6 are learning Spanish!
They began last week by recapping their existing knowledge of numbers and extending them further! We then put this to the test my making number sentences e.g
ocho por tres es veinticuatro ( 8 x 3 = 24)
We also learnt to ask:
?Cuantos años tienes? (How old are you?)
Tengo dies años. (I am ten years old)
This week, we learnt how to pronounce and spell the seasons and the months of the year before using this knowledge to share when our birthday is:
Mi cumpleaños ed el dies de Mayo. (My birthday is the 10th May)
