This Wednesday, Year 5 will be participating in the Coventry Catholic school’s “Morning of Music.” This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to gather together to sing and play instruments and celebrate the love of music. This year’s theme is “Throughout Time” and so the songs the children have been practising in their music lessons all have a history theme. All Souls’ party piece (that we must perform to the other schools) is us singing the Ancient Greek alphabet, which fits nicely with our new history topic. Please ensure that your child is practising reciting this alphabet at home!
On Wednesday, the children should arrive to school at normal time and in full school uniform. They will travel by minibus to Holy Family School, where the event will take place, and they will return back in time for lunch. Unfortunately, there is no capacity for parents to come along to watch this event.
