Today, Year 4 explored what we mean by ‘respect’ in our class collective worship. We listened to scripture that reminded us how we are all made with similarities because we were all created in the image and likeness of God but we also have our differences because of our God given talents.
We used the quiet surroundings of our prayer garden to share how we think we were each created in the image of God before heading back into the classroom to delve deeper into the differences amongst us.
The children offered that we needed to RESPECT eachother’s differences like God intended us too and celebrate the fact that we are unique.
We really spent time thinking about what respect looks like and what it sounds like and worked together to come up with some ideas.
