We would like to warmly invite all parents (of all year groups) to our St. Patrick’s Day Coffee morning which is taking place on Friday 16th March, from 9:15am-11:15am. The morning will be a chance to celebrate the day by getting together over a coffee and a cake and being entertained by music, the school choir and our very own Irish dancers. As is now tradition, you will be served your tea and coffee by our budding baristas in Year 5 and Giles Evans will be compering and singing for us!

Entrance to the event will cost £3 per person, which includes unlimited tea and coffee and a selection of cakes on each table. Additional cakes will also be on offer to purchase, either to eat at the event or to take home for later. Raffle tickets and Irish coffees will also be available for sale on the morning.

To make this morning a success, we are asking for your help in donating prizes for the raffle. If you have any unwanted gifts at home or are able to donate anything at all (chocolates, bottles etc.), please bring them into me at school at the earliest opportunity. If you have any contacts with local businesses who may be willing to help provide prizes, contacting them on our behalf would be much appreciated.

On the day itself, all children can come to school dressed up in the Irish colours. In return, we ask that the children bring in cakes that can be sold at the coffee morning. Due to the fact that getting hundreds of cakes ready on the morning is extremely hectic, this year, children are requested to bring these in on the days leading up to the event if at all possible please.

This event relies whole-heartedly on the generosity of our school community and is vital in raising funds for the school, so your support for this is very much appreciated- thank you in advance!
