On the 12th November 2019, Year Six will be attending a Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial Park.
In preparation, the children have been busy writing Ottava Rima poems. Some of the stanzas chosen were put together to create two readings which we will be read during tomorrow’s service. We will also be laying a wreath that we have made. 
Parents and grandparents are more than welcome to join us at the service which will be begin at 10.30am.
***Please note children should bring wellies to wear and have a warm, waterproof coat, hat, scarf and gloves as we will be standing outside for quite some time – even if it rains! Please also ensure that children are wearing their poppies. ***
