Year 6 and Reception had the perfect end to a very busy half term as they shared in stories and pancakes!

Year 6 have been working really hard to write their own traditional tales for their prayer friends and were super excited to share them. Reception listened beautifully and could answer lots of questions about their stories. We then ended the afternoon by picking from a variety of toppings and enjoying some yummy pancakes ahead of Shrove Tuesday!

… and don’t forget the washing up!

Thank you Mrs Hartwell, Mrs Mc Closkey and Miss Galagher for a fabulous day with are prayer friends! I really enjoined reading our stories to them (even if they kept asking what words meant or didn’t understand what was happening) and I loved the pancakes. THANK YOU MISS GALAGHER!!! The washing up was really messy and I learnt a thing or two from Mrs Mc Closkey.
