Today, Year 4 began sketching their still life pictures, really focusing on their size and spatial distribution of objects. They were really focused and produced a good outline of their overall image.
After much nagging, I was persuaded to let them start painting their foreground objects using watercolours. The children really impressed me with showing off how much they’d learnt about shading and toning this half term, in addition to their colour mixing skills.
