Year One were beyond excited as they arrived at school today to see the playground was covered in untouched snow! We decided to brace the cold and wrap up to enjoy the frosty start to our Wednesday. We made snow angels and felt the snow melt on our hands, the children very quickly realised that unfortunately we didn’t; have enough to make a snowman together so instead took to seeing who could make the biggest wings.
The children wrote their names in the snow but the excitement hit a whole other level when they discovered the footprints… We were so excited to find out who the footprints belonged to. The children narrowed it down to 3 culprits. A fox, a cat or a dog? The dog was ruled out because the paw prints were too small. So that left 2 remaining and we couldn’t decide. Until a little visitor decided to pay us a visit and we knew straight away the footprints belonged to them. Ask your children who the footprints belonged to?
