Year 6 have been busy learning all about classification and the important role of taxonomists.
We had a go at grouping animals based on their similar characteristics before classifying them to determine which animals should be housed near each other in a zoo.
We then went outside to collect a variety of leaves. We learnt about the important role of leaves and how they differ from each other before using Venn diagrams to categorise them.
