We have had a very busy week ending on Friday by making fruit and chocolate kebabs. We asked the children to help Mrs Jilks decide how we could get the solid chocolate to stick to the fruit. Grace told us that we could melt it in the microwave. Below are a few photographs of the kebabs before we ate them!
We have also been practising making CVC words, exploring texture, beginning to learn the language of subtraction and recognising numbers to 20.
Word Aware
The words we learnt this week are behind, before and quiet, ask the children to explain what they mean and when we could use them.
Next week we are taking part in the internet safety week with the rest of the school, completing activites designed to help us learn how to keep safe.
