What a busy week we have had! We continued to work on our sharing by 2 in our groups to begin with. We used objects and sharing circles to help us to see how when we share the amount must be shared fairly between the circles.
In our art lesson, we worked with Miss Quinn on adding some finer details to our seasons collage and look forward to finishing them off next week with some weather clues added on.
In our English we finished our non-chronological reports about the North Pole animals. The children tried their absolute best and created some informative texts all about their chosen animal. We were very proud of their dedication to complete their reports đ
In RE we have been exploring making the right or wrong choices and how sometimes it is hard to make the right choice for different reasons. We looked at different scenarios and how the person could have made a better choice as well as what we should do to help ourselves and others when we make the wrong choice. We reflected on the story of the Prodigal Son and thought about how even when we make bad choices there is always the chance to be forgiven. We look forward to learning more about forgiveness and the sacrament of reconciliation next week.
