Start of new academic year

By Mr A Cooke31st August 2018

We look forward to welcoming back all of our pupils and families on Tuesday 4th September (Monday is a teacher training day!).

We hope that you have had a great summer break and we can’t wait to hear about all of your adventures.

Children can return in either summer or winter uniform as the weather looks set to remain warm.

We are aware that some parents are having difficulty in purchasing school ties.  We aim to resolve this issue in the next few days.  In the meantime, children who have be unable to obtain a tie may come to school without one.  The issue has arisen because we asked our supplier to phase out the current style ties (both elastic and standard) and replace them all with clip-on styles.  We are also in process of phasing in uniform with an updated school logo.  This will be a gradual process and any uniform in the current logo will be permitted indefinitely.

Congratulations Fr Gerard

By Mr A Cooke16th July 2018

Our Year 5 and 6 children were honored to attend the ordination service of Fr Gerard Toman, a former pupil of All Souls school, on Friday 6th July.  It was a beautiful service and celebration and we were delighted to be asked to sing Hail Queen of Heaven after Holy communion.  We wish Fr Gerard the best of luck, and will keep him in our prayers, as he settles into life at Walsingham in August.

Non-Uniform day tomorrow

By Mr A Cooke21st June 2018

Please note that it is a non-uniform day tomorrow as there is a whole school talent show that the children have been auditioning for over the last few weeks.

Children in Year 5 have organised the event and will be hosting it – so I’m sure it will be hugely entertaining and action packed.

Photos to follow!

Please note that over the next couple of days, electrical work is being carried out across the school.  At various times during the day the school’s power will have to be turned off, at which point our telephone lines will go down.  If you are trying to contact the school and can’t get through, either to speak to the school or All Sorts, please use the following telephone number:

All Souls Radio

By Mr A Cooke4th May 2018

Just returned from our first ever ‘All Souls Radio’ session – broadcast live onto the playground using our new outdoor PA system and dj gear.

Had so much fun with our resident weekly DJs, DJ Davenport and DJ Julia – who did an excellent job of choosing today’s tracking and mixing.

Looking forward to next week’s session – and maybe being able to stream our radio live across the Internet.  Stay tuned!
