We can’t wait to train the others up so that they get to tick their pledge off and we get to stay well-hydrated!

Year 6 have been getting creative with their language and grammatical structures to ensure their audience felt the suspense they were building. they thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to put this to the test, whilst ticking off one of their All Souls’ Pledge 101s by reading their final versions to Year 4.
Year 4 displayed superb listening skills and clearly felt the purpose of this text type as their illustrated responses to the stories they heard were fab!

Year 6 have been looking at how finches in the Galapagos Islands have become adapted to suit the different environments in which they live. Using different equipment to resemble different types of beaks, we learnt about their habitats, food sources and how their beaks are suited to their particular diet.
You are invited to join Year 5 and 6 for their Class Mass on Wednesday 16th February 2022 at 9.30am.
Reception will also be joining Year 6 as their prayer friends for the first time. We are very much looking forward to sharing in this special celebration together and hope you can join us.

Congratulations to Molly in Year 5 who celebrated her First Holy Communion this weekend.

Well done to James, Oliver, Cameron and for their fabulous effort in the Comp 4 U rowing event which they took part in earlier today.
Between them, they rowed 1596m and finished in a fantastic 7th place! Well done boys!
A group of Year 4 children enjoyed their time with Kevin the gardener today in the parish garden as part of their Catholic outreach. They learnt about what is needed to grow plants, how the self-watering system works and also prepared some sweet potatoes to get ready to root.
