Thursday 22nd June: Modern Foreign Languages Day (at Bablake)
On Thursday, the class will be visiting Bablake for a languages taster day. The children will be travelling by mini-bus there and back and will be back at school before the end of the day. The children all need a packed lunch and a drink (preferably in a named carrier bag so that it can be disposed of).
If your child is taking part in the athletics competition on this day, they will not be coming with us to Bablake and will instead stay at school before attending the athletics in the afternoon.
Friday 23rd June: Humanities Day (at Bishop Ullathorne)
The theme for the day is “Gifts and Fruits of the Spirit” and this is a fantastic opportunity for the children to take part in a range of activities that will build on what we have learnt in our RE lessons and begin to prepare them for their Confirmation. Coaches from Bishop Ullathorne will pick up the children from All Souls’at 9 o’clock and will bring us back ready in time for the end of the school day. Lunch will be provided by Bishop Ullathorne.
Children should come to school in full school uniform on both days as normal.
Congratulations to the 23 Year 6 children who have had their Young Writers poetry competition entries selected to be published! This is such a fantastic achievement and you should all be so proud – we can’t wait to see all your work in print!
