Year 5 had another fantastic session from Engage Rugby today. We developed our tag skills outside and then took part in a teamwork lesson back in the classroom where we learnt just how important working together is. We demonstrated this by competing in teams to order the Rugby team formations as quickly as we could. We found that working together in a team produced much better results that working individually!
Below are some pictures of us in action playing Tag. These pictures are from last week’s session; it was definitely not this sunny today!

This Wednesday, Year 5 will be participating in the Coventry Catholic school’s “Morning of Music.” This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to gather together to sing and play instruments and celebrate the love of music. This year’s theme is “Throughout Time” and so the songs the children have been practising in their music lessons all have a history theme. All Souls’ party piece (that we must perform to the other schools) is us singing the Ancient Greek alphabet, which fits nicely with our new history topic. Please ensure that your child is practising reciting this alphabet at home!
