Year 2 would like to thank the PTA for our new books. We took one of our new class readers to forest school to enjoy with a hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows.
Today, Year 2 learnt all about the Gunpowder Plot. We did a puppet show to show what we had learnt.
We went on a walk to the fairground to do some research for our setting descriptions. We spoke about what we might see, hear and taste and the fair if it was open. Then we did some amazing drawings. We will share them with you soon.
We loved telling Reception about our monsters that we have created. We read them our brilliant work and they listened very well. Thank you Reception for coming to see our amazing work.
Year 2 went mini beast hunting in two different micro habitats. We found lots of interesting creatures.
Year 2 have came back to school brilliantly and I am very proud of them all. It sounds like you have all had a wonderful holiday.
Year 3 have been learning all about forces and magnets. Over the last week, we have been designing and making our very own game.
We had great fun making, adapting and playing them and can’t wait to take them home.
