We have loved working alongside the parish to grow fruit and vegetables last year that are now available in our Church with donations going to CAFOD. We cannot wait to start growing this year and look forward to hopefully beginning our very own vegetable garden here on the school grounds.
We will need some help with materials and expertise so please keep a look out in the newsletter if you feel you can help in any way.
We pray for a fruitful harvest for our global family this year.
We were excited to have a visit from Father Paul this week to talk to us about receiving our sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation. We had the chance to ask questions and learn just a little bit about what will happen over the next few weeks.
We look forward to showing our commitment to the next step of our faith journey at the commitment masses and joining the sacramental preparation sessions (dates below)
Saturday 24th September at 5pm – Y6 parent and child sacramental meeting
Saturday 1st October at 5pm – Y3 parent and child sacramental meeting
Sunday 2nd October at 9.30am – Confirmation commitment
Sunday 9th October at 9.30am – Holy Communion commitment

We are delighted to welcome the children back to school for the first normal start to a school year in two years. It has been refreshing to have all the children back together in assemblies, sharing lunch together and playing together once more.
In Year 6 we have thrown ourselves straight into learning and the children are already making small steps of progress in their knowledge, skills and resilience. Resilience is going to be key over the next year and we will continue to focus on building our resilience to try again and learn from our mistakes.
