The children had a great time thinking about Autumn and the colours it provides for us. We made some Autumn sculptures using branches and coloured ribbon. When they had finished weaving the children went into the Forest School to find leaves and twigs to add to their work. Thank you to Year 4 for making the frames for us.
The children are settling well into school life and adapting to the new routines. We are adding to these by sending home our first reading book for you to share. The books will come home on Monday and we would like them returned on Friday (letter explaining more will accompany the book). We have also been learning phonemes (letter sounds) during our phonic sessions. Below are the phonemes we have covered so far. We would be grateful if you could practise these with your child.
