8 boys braved the cold weather and took part in the Coventry Schools Cross Country on Saturday morning. 5 of them ran in the first race, this was extremely quick and highly competitive. We managed to finish 8th overall as a school which is excellent considering 39 schools ran in the event. Ryan was our top finisher, finishing in 2nd place closely followed by Ewan in 7th. Lorcan was our next runner back, he was one of the youngest children to run and finished in an impressive 65th position. The final two back were Joshua and Joseph who finished in 68th and 98th respectively. It was a great team effort as everyone managed to finish in the top 100. Well done boys.
As we didn’t have a full team in our next race the boys were running for themselves and not as part of the school team. Kai was the first boy back finishing in a splendid 23rd place. Just 7 places behind finishing in 30th place was Kayden. Unfortunately our last runner didn’t quite make it round the whole course but did give it his absolute best. Congratulations boys.
