We had a great end to the term having a Easter egg hunt in the garden and a party to say goodbye and good luck to Mikey. We will miss you Mikey, keep in touch.

We had a very muddy afternoon and it was not as cold as it has been, so the children had great fun. Some of the children had to be stopped from going around again! We ended the afternoon with a hot drink and snack and a film. Thank you for sponsoring them, please send the money in next week.
We had a lovely visit to the Belgrade, we saw backstage, the dressing rooms and went onto the stage. The children behaved excellently and were a credit to you all. They asked some great questions and are now very excited at the thought of putting on their own production.
We have been role playing in our Theatre; getting ready for our visit this week to the Belgrade. We will be looking around backstage, in the dressing rooms and on the stage. We are very excited about the visit. In mathematics we have been exploring how to share, it helped us understand better when we had to share sweets! In literacy we have been starting to discover how a story is structured and having ago at writing our own. This week we will have some more read write spell sheets with new words to practise. Please would you help your child complete these, it really helps with their writing skills.

We had a great week making and designing cars and conducting experiments. Friday was a fun day for all. We made a volcano, a lava lamp, a rainbow with skittles and blew up a balloon with soda and vinegar.

Thank you to all of the children who made fabulous amounts of effort to come into school dressed as mad or famous scientists today and helped us celebrate our love for SCIENCE!
During the last two weeks, we have all been busy being Scientists, researching the answers to questions we wanted to find out, creating posters to celebrate this year’s theme of ‘Journeys’ and also taking part in a whole school quiz!
In a special assembly this afternoon, we got to share what we had been up to with the whole school and award prizes for the quiz winners and poster winners!
Well done to everybody who took part! We really appreciate your efforts and are very thankful for your kind donations too – we raised over £150!

Our Book Fair is beginning this week in the school hall, Wednesday 20th March- Wednesday 27th March.
The times it will be open in the school hall will be as follows:

Please do come along and support this venture. There will be books on sale from £2.99 and each child will receive a £1.00 World Book Day token to put towards the cost. School will receive commission from sales to purchase books fro class libraries.

Thank you for your donation of cakes and gifts towards our celebrations. The children looked and sang beautifully. We have had a lovely morning.

We had a lovely morning at the Transport Museum looking at the wonderful things made in Coventry. The children were all very well behaved and really enjoyed the visit. The world’s fastest car was the most popular exhibit.
