Children have been enjoying making, creating, exploring and role playing with the cardboard boxes.
This week children have been practicing their fine motor skills and their letter formation.
Please help your child learn their first set of flashcards. They can’t wait to read their first book!
Reception enjoyed dressing in bright colours today. They all contributed a food item and a £1. They knew they were giving to those less fortunate than ourselves.

What a busy/fun week Reception have had! They have been making friends, learning how to listen, share, take turns & sit on the carpet. They also met their Year 6 prayer friends and will spend some more time tomorrow getting to know them. I think we will have 30 tired children on Friday (as well as 3 adults).
Mrs Atwal’s group have been learning about initial phonemes (sounds). Some children remembered they could bring in something beginning with that initial sound. Other children found objects around the room.
Children were excited to go to the dining hall for their dinner on Monday and then really enjoyed playing outside in the ‘big’ playground.
Children & staff survived the first P.E. lesson of the term! We hope all the children came home with the right uniform on.
They started off with a warm up, then the focus went on to listening skills and finally the children were learning how to balance objects on their head, knee and toes.
Reminder: If girls wear tights to school, please send in a spare pair of socks to keep in their P.E. boxes – thanks.
Unfortunately the Tuesday Trip Fund finished in the summer term and will no longer be available. Sorry for any confusion.
