We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts and prayers are with His Majesty and The Royal Family at this extremely difficult time.
May she rest in peace.
The children had fun practising fine motor and gross motor skills. They were very good at climbing over and through the climbing equipment.
Reception and Nursery had a lovely day today celebrating the platinum Jubilee.Ā We played games and completed lots of different crafts.Ā We then ended the day with a party outdoors with jelly and ice cream.
Reception have been exploring different occupations.Ā We have been role playing in our Police Station.Ā The children were very excited to investigate a robbery from the shed.Ā After taking finger prints we found the thief!
In Mathematics we have been exploring numbers beyond 10 in a variety of different ways.

A huge thank you to those who have already donated so generously to our walk against hunger campaign that we completed during the days of Lent. Just a reminder that these donations will be sent next week so please send in what you can.
The children walked over 200km around our playground over the 4 weeks of Lent and spent time reflecting on their own relationship with God as well as gaining a sense of empathy for those in our global community who must walk over 5km a day just to get food and water. Some classes took the challenge to the next level and walked barefoot! A beautiful testament to the lives of others.
Thank you in advance for supporting your children who undertook this wonderful challenge in aid of CAFOD.
Reception helped Mrs Jilks practise for her Memory walk for the Alzheimer’s Charity.Ā We chose this worthy cause for our class fund raiser.Ā Thank you for all your donations we managed to raise over Ā£400 pounds!
Reception have had a fun day conducting some amazing experiments.Ā Some of the things we made were rainbows, volcanoes, invisible ink messages, dancing pictures and planted seeds. Below are some photographs from the day.
