Year 3 and 4 had a great day at the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Year 3 were focusing on what animals live in different climates and where in the World they live. Year 4 were focusing on prey and predators. We all had a great day but we’re very tired by the end of the day.
We loved wearing our Christmas jumpers and having a delicious Christmas dinner.
One year on from the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, we had the United by 2022 in to reflect on the highlights and legacy of the games. The aim was to inspire our children to get active, find their voice and contribute to their community.
This week, we invited our adults into our classroom to participate. We got our hearts and mind ready for Jesus coming again. We also spent the morning getting our classroom ready.
In Geography, Year 3 have been looking at different climates around the world and different biomes. We spent our forest school session trying to work out, which trees are native to our biome.
Year 3 had the privilege to meet Natasha Hastings on a Zoom call. Natasha told them anyone could be a writer and not to give up if that is the career you want.
Today, Year 3 and the rest of the school took part in a ‘Bearpee’ Challenge to raise money for Children in Need. The children were amazing and absolutely smashed the 1000 ‘Bearpees’ they were set and as a class we did 1872 Bearpees. Well done, Year 3.
Year 3 went into the local woodland to explore issues affecting flora, fauna and the Countryside. We first looked at the climate zone we live in and what trees are native to the area. Then we searched for issues affecting the environment. We decided the biggest problem was US!
