Year 3 and 4 had a great afternoon playing dodgeball. They showed great team work and determination.
Today was Year 4’s first lesson in editing audio. They learned what input and output devices are and then used software called Audacity to record and export their own jokes.
Audacity is a completely free piece of audio editing software – if you wish to download it for your child to practice using it please click here.
If you can’t see your child’s name below – unfortunately it either means the sound didn’t record correctly or they failed to save it.
We celebrated our first family Mass this Sunday with the theme ‘Love and Correction’. It was lovely to see so many of our families there; our family masses will be celebrated on the first Sunday of every month.
Thank you to our Year 6 readers and altar servers who were wonderful role models.
Today, we came together as a whole school to celebrate in our first school mass of the academic year. We prayed for those affected by the earthquake and how even in the darkest of times, we are blessed.
Thank you again to our readers and altar servers in KS2 and all the families who joined us today.
Today we celebrated International Literacy Day to highlight the importance of literacy and raise awareness for education as a human right.
We took a moment to consider how grateful we are to have our wonderful school and teachers to help us to learn to read and write before taking our class book outside and reading together on the field to share this wonderful gift together.
Welcome back to all our children and families.
We are so excited to welcome all our children and families to back to school for the new academic year. We look forward to hearing all about your summer break and the memories made as well as welcoming our new starters in Nursery and Reception and their families who are joining the All All Souls community this year.
We are confident that 2023-24 will be another fantastic year here at All Souls where we are determined that all our children thrive and make the absolute most progress – academically, personally and spiritually – that they possibly can.
We can’t wait to see those smiling faces on the gate in the morning!
With love,
The All Souls’ Team
This week Year 4 has been testing the limits of our imagination!
For our adventure stories we are creating over the next few weeks, we have been deciding on interesting adjectives to create a detailed setting. By adding these adjecive-filled descriptions into Dall-E (an online AI image generator) we’ve created some amazing looking settings for our characters to explore.

‘Wear It Green’
Thank you to all the children who wore green today to raise awareness for Mental Health. Your generous donations helped us to raise over £200 as a school to support mental health charities.
This week, staff have also taken part in All Souls’ Coffee Roulette where we were randomly paired up with another member of staff to take half hour out of our busy days to enjoy a cuppa and connect! We thoroughly enjoyed the chance to catch up with different people, find out more about one another and share some laughter.
