Sending the warmest Easter wishes and prayers to all of our wonderful families today.
May the resurrection of our Lord be a reminder of good conquering evil and life eternal.
Wishing you all a blessed Good Friday.
As we enter this most solemn time, let us remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for us and the sacrifices that people make for us today.

During Lent, as Christians we are called to serve. Year 4 has chosen to focus our efforts on Macmillans Cancer Support. During the month of March, Macmillans is running a plank challenge: https://www.macmillan.org.uk/fundraise/plank-challenge
In Year 4 we are challenging ourselves to a plank every day, aiming for 3 minutes or even longer!

We’re pleased to announce that All Souls is introducing a new, more efficient and secure system for reporting your child’s absence due to illness, called Studybugs. Over the next few weeks we will be moving from our online Google From based absence reporting to StudyBugs and after the Easter holidays, the current form and link will be removed.
We are therefore asking all parents to download the free Studybugs app, or register on the Studybugs website, and use it to tell us whenever your child’s ill and unable to attend school. In school, over the same period, we will be moving from taking paper registers each day to doing so electronically.
Get the app or register now (https://studybugs.com/about/parents)
Thank you,
All Souls Catholic Primary School
Top 3 reasons to use Studybugs
1. It’s integrated with our systems so we know right away if your child is unaccounted for.
2. It’s quick and easy to register and use and automatically reminds you to keep us posted.
3. You’ll be helping the NHS and other public health organisations improve children’s health. (https://studybugs.com/about/schools)
We are so excited to welcome our children and their grown ups to our All Souls Reading Cafe tomorrow to share a story, drink and treat! Don’t forget to reserve your seat!
Wow, what a first day back!
Year 4 headed to Lunt Roman Fort this Monday to kick start our new History topic on the Romans in Britain.
We had a chance to meet Roman legionaries and find out how they defended the fort.
Some of us even got a chance to try out some Roman armour and weapons!
Finally, to end off the day we trained like Roman soldiers before duelling each other in the arena (known as a ‘gyrus’).
Yesterday Year 4 girls took part in their 3rd football tournament of the year. Each month they attend the AT7 centre to compete against other Schools from Coventry. They all gave it their all drawing 1 match and marginally losing 2 others. The girls also had the chance to hold the Arnold Clark Cup, this is the cup the England Lionesses will be competing for at the CBS Arena on Sunday. Well done girls keep up the hard work!
