This week got off to a busy start with children campaigning to be elected for a role within the School Council.

Everyone put a lot of effort into their campaigns (I got all sorts of goodies, including posters, badges and even cookies!).

Well done to all of you who were elected. Those of you who weren’t, try not to be too disheartened. I know Miss Quinn said the votes were close. Remember, although the representatives have a very important role to play, we are all there trying to keep the school the best it can be.

After reviewing several application forms, I have employed a few personal assistants within the classroom. I am extremely pleased to see how many children have offered up their personal time to help out within the school, whether that be for Mrs Quinn and Mr Cooke, the office, myself and the chickens!

Well done to Bronagh and Kupa for winning Superstars of the week this week; Bronagh for her consistent effot in Numeracy and Kupa for his resilience in Literacy! Well done to both of you for trying so hard, even when you may have found aspects difficult. *Five raffle tickets each!*

Congratulations also to Ju-Eun for the homework award. She made the most progress in her test score from Test A to Test B last week. Last but not least, well done to Jude for the outstanding work award for showing a clear improvement in his handwriting – keep it up Jude and lets get it that good across all pieces of work! *Two raffle tickets each*

One more action packed week to go until half term… 🙂

The ballot box was very cool. Well done Kelsey, Callum M, Annie, Kupa, Sophie, Finn and Orla O for getting in school council. (I’m sure you will make our school the best it can be :D) and thank you Mrs Hartwell and Mrs Elkins for an amazing week!

This week has been by far one of the best! I never knew algebra was so easy. Well done to Bronagh, Kupa, Jude and Ju-Eun for your effort in work this week. What will next week hold?
