This week we will be focussing on Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday. We are going to find out about the traditions behind the two days and their importance in our Catholic faith. On Tuesday we will be feasting on Pancakes cooked in Reception. We will be counting and practising writing numbers.
Word Aware words this week are backwards and between. You can help by using these words around the home for example squeeze in between family members on the sofa or remind children not to eat between meals. For the word backwards practise walking backwards across a room or walking a toy backwards.
Reminder no school Friday it is teacher training day.
