The Easter holidays are here and the children truly deserve a rest.
This has been a very busy term. The children have grown in maturity and independence.
They have worked very hard and are deserving of the progress they have made, well done.
During the final week of term there was a focus on the events of Holy Week.

On Monday the children acted out the triumphant journey into Jerusalem waving palms and shouting Hosanna.
On Tuesday the children created expressive artwork. Collages representing Anger in the Temple.
On Wednesday the children enjoyed a truly wonderful production of the Easter Story by Years 3 and 4.
During whole school mass on Thursday, the children watched as Fr Michael ‘washed the feet of the disciples’.
On Friday the children shared ‘The Last Supper’. Well done to the children for engaging so respectfully in all events, for reading and sharing their thoughts and prayers.
On Friday the children participated in an Easter Egg Hunt, and managed to find all the hidden eggs.

Homework
There is no homework over the Easter holidays. Please continue to listen to your child read and encourage them to practice their 10 and 2 times tables.
Finally thank you for your continue support. Mrs Atwal and I wish you all a happy and holy Easter holiday, enjoy the break and see you on the 24th.
