Year 6 will be taking their Confirmation on Sunday 29th April at 11:15. Please ensure that the children arrive at church no later than 11:00 so they have time to show their sponsor to their seat and then meet in the Parish Room at 11:05.
During the service, the sponsor will go onto the altar with the child they are sponsoring and place their hand on the right shoulder of the child.
There are no specific requirements regarding what the children need to wear for the service, however, please ensure they are dressed smartly to help mark the significance of the occasion.
As always, everyone is welcome in the Parish Room after mass for refreshments and if the weather is favourable then it may be nice for the children have some photos taken in the Peace Garden.
