Children from Year 1 and Year 2 entered into a young writers competition for which they had to write their own acrostic poem. We are still awaiting the results of the winner but they have contacted us to say that the poems were that good, they want to publish some of them in a poetry book!
Well done to all the children who entered and to those who have been selected to be published! I think the certificates, stickers and bookmarks are very well-deserved.
Please return all consent forms to publish these poems to Mrs Hartwell by no later than Monday 2nd December.
