Dear Parent/Guardian,

As part of our English study of traditional tales, we are going to see the Twisted Tale of Hansel and Gretal on Wednesday 18^th March at 10.30am. The performance will last an hour and then the children will come back to school. We will be using the minibus to get there. The performance is suggested at 7+ however I believe it will be suitable for all of Year 2 and the suggestion is because of the ‘Wicked Witch’ character. If you would like to discuss this further please come and speak to me.

I am also opening this trip up for members of the choir as it has a variety of acting and singing which will be fantastic for the children to see.

I will be putting this trip on Agora soon for payment to be made. The cost of the trip is £9.20 per child.

We were practicing our balancing skills today on low apparatus! Ask us what we had to think about when we were doing our balance.

Mrs Elkins was really proud of the children chosen to represent All Souls in the gymnastics competition. Well done everyone, a great effort 🙂

It was lovely to visit the library yesterday. We have been looking at fairy tales in English and wanted to read different ones. The children were reading to each other which was fantastic to see! Hopefully we can go back soon!

This afternoon we looked at the fantastic selection of projects that the children handed in. We really enjoyed seeing how children had done different things to show what they had learnt. We have also made calendars this week which were sent home today! We look forward to our trip to Earlsdon Library on Tuesday.
