Just before we broke up for Christmas we had a day in school where we dressed as Romans and spent the whole day doing Roman activities. We tried different ‘Roman’ foods; Pizza, grapes, dates, balsamic vinegar and oil and honeyed bread. We made mosaic tiles with a partner and learned all about Boudicca. The children had a great day and I would like to thank all parents for the effort and participation! Check out our gallery for some photos of the day!
Watch the final of the After Eight Mint Challenge below. Mr Marsh has clearly played this game far too many times.
Year 4 had a fabulous time in their computing lesson today turning themselves into dancing elves using the elfyourself.com website. You can have a look at a few of their videos by clicking on the links below.

Year 5 and 6 took part in the Indoor Sportshall Competition today, the first time we have have taken part in over 5 years. The children had a great time competing against 3 other schools from Coventry. Without much training they managed to finish in an incredible 2nd place missing out on first by just 10pts. Well done everyone you really put in a lot of effort, you should all be proud of yourselves.
Below are few pictures from the event. (I apologize for the pictures that are out of focus, they must have been moving far too quick for the camera!)
