In computing today Year 2 were learning to be photographers. They first talked about where we can find cameras and what they are useful for. They then discussed about permissions and safety when using cameras. Finally they used iPad’s and digital cameras to play photograph bingo. All the photos below were taken by the children.

Yesterday 10 children from Years 1 and 2 took part in a gymnastics competition at Tribe Gymnastics. This was the first time that any of them had represented the school in a sporting event and they certainly did themselves and the school proud. Although they were a little nervous at the beginning this didn’t show when they performed their floor and vault routines as they completed them with huge smiles on their faces. We await the results as more schools are competing over the next few days. Well done everyone, you were brilliant!

Nine Children from Year 3 visited Tribe Gymnastics Club today to take part in a Coventry Schools Gymnastics competition. The children had practised hard with Miss Jade and this showed as each one of them performed impeccably. First, they showed off their flour skills by completing a challenging routine involving balances, jumps, spins and rolls. After they had some fun on the air track before completing their final routine on the beam. We should hopefully find out the results later next week. Well done everyone you were brilliant!
