We had a very busy first week back. We have been recognising numbers to 20, learning about addition, exploring musical instruments, sharing a prayer service with Year 6, learning the meaning of new words ‘Next to’ and writing our Christmas news. We have also had the opportunity to role play in our new ‘Sweet Shop’. Please would you donate any empty sweet or chocolate boxes to add to our shop.

The children have some more tricky words that they need to practise, will you please help them to do this. We would like to say thank you to all of you that take the time to read with your child, it really does make a difference to how they progress in their reading skills.
