All Souls Catholic Primary School has pledged its support to the Global Campaign to get
Year 6 have been thinking about what the Sacrament of Confirmation means to them and reflected on why they have chosen to be Confirmed before creating these beautiful wordles….
Year 2 really enjoyed all of the activities celebrating our class Saint.
They sang St Francis’ prayer together, wrote prayers with a nature theme, built churches, made bird feeders and created art in nature – Andy Goldsworthy style.
The children enjoyed leading a prayer service to bless animals and their own pets and sharing their own personal prayers.
We are inviting children to come into school tomorrow, Tuesday 10th October 2023, wearing a hat of their choice (the funkier the better!) to raise awareness for Mind’s ‘Hats on 4 Mental Health‘ campaign!
If you would like to donate to our local charity, Coventry Mind, please do so via the payment link available on School Gateway.
*Please note full uniform must be worn*
Due to a clash of dates for Sacramental preparation with our Y6 residential trip to Dol-y-Moch, Father Paul has changed the date of this session to the following week, 18th November 2023. Please see the updated list of dates below.
Thanks,
Mrs Hartwell
Thank you all the children who dressed up in bright colours for CAFOD’s Harvest Feast Day and for all of your food donations which we offered up at Church before this morning’s mass. Your kind donations will go to those in our local community who are in need.
Year 5 have been working really hard this week writing their own canticle inspired by St Francis’ Canticle of Creation.
This morning Year 5 shared their Canticles with Year 2 to help them celebrate the Feast Day of St Francis.

Thank you to Aoife, Lila and Grace who reminded us how to be brave, spread peace and offer forgiveness just like St Francis of Assisi did in today’s class liturgy.
Thank you to Dan and Emily who led us in beautiful prayer and song during this morning’s Autumn Live Stream.
Thank you to Lukas, Joseph and Jonah who reminded us in today’s class liturgy what it means to be GRATEFUL and GENEROUS.
