I think many children and maybe some parents gave pulled this face too Millie. You’re doing a great job 🙂 Very proud!

Peach continued to work hard at the weekend to finish writing her story “The Adventure That Didn’t Happen”. Well done, Peach! I thoroughly enjoyed reading your story.

Well done to Evie who has been practicing to tell the time and well done to Josh who has been practicing his subtraction and handwriting 😊 Keep it up both!

Well done to Reggie who has sent me his adventure story from last week. His plot was very clever and he used expanded noun phrases, conjunctions and a comma in a list. I’m so proud of this piece of work Reggie!

A huge thank you to Grace, George, Jessica and Tai for the work they have sent in over the past few days.
George has been spending some time working on his handwriting and maths. He has also been showing his younger brother how we learn at All Souls’and have been following Joe Wicks for their PE lessons. Jessica has been baking some delicious cakes, she has also been soaking up the sunshine and spending some time in nature. Jessica has concentrated on her handwriting and reading comprehension. Grace wrote a beautiful prayer to Jesus, light of the world with some lovely words and intentions. Tai has been busy making a campfire, junk modelling and making a jigsaw puzzle out of tree bark! It is wonderful to see all the hard work and creativity Year One are putting into their home learning tasks. Well done!
A big thank you to Thomas, Molly, Phoebe, Grace and Eden for sending me some more fantastic work!
Molly has written a wonderful fable, did some brilliant work in maths and has also been busy in the garden! Phoebe and Grace have both been working hard in science and have produced some wonderful work on plants. Eden has made a lovely fact file on our class saint and Thomas has decided to do some extra work on something he is interested in – volcanoes!
Well done and keep it up! I’m really looking forward to receiving more emails this week!
