WOW!
What an absolutely incredible trip!
Despite some cold and rainy weather, our Year 6 children grew in self-confidence, resilience and positive mindset and took on all the challenges that came their way. We are so proud of every single one of them. The Dol-y-moch staff all commented on how wonderful they were and they were an absolute credit to their parents and our school. Their new found self-
confidence has already started to show in the classroom – long may it continue!
Well done, Year Six!
Photos will be uploaded here:
*Please note this will take some time to upload them all so please be patient with me*

Year 6 are loving their ukulele lessons with Mrs Cooke in Music this half term. They even managed to strum along to Katy Perry’s ‘Roar’ today. What a treat to listen to!

As part of the Into Film Festival, Year 6 will be visiting Odeon Coventry Cinema on Thursday, 28th November to watch the film IF.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the children, designed to enrich their learning experience through film. There is no cost for this trip.
We will be walking to and from the cinema, so please ensure your child is in full school uniform and dressed appropriately for the weather. They should bring their coats, along with hats, scarves, and gloves just in case of cold conditions.
Children may bring their water bottle and one treat (up to a share bag size) such as crisps, popcorn, sweets, or chocolate. Please remember that these should not contain nuts.
We will return to school for lunch, which will be at a later time of approximately 1:30 pm. To make this easier, we have asked that children who usually have a school dinner on this day pre-order a sandwich so that it is ready for their return.
If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
The children in Year 6 are so proud of their Remembrance artwork!
…We Will Remember Them…
Thank you to the school council and Mrs Rae for organising an amazing Monster Ball. The children had a great time.
No Pens Day!
We are taking part in No Pens Day! On Wednesday 27th November, All Souls is excited to be joining many other schools around the UK for a chatty day of fun and fundraising. This is where we need your help!
As part of No Pens Day, we are asking each pupil to bring an item of their choosing and tell their peers about it as part of the biggest-ever show and tell! This will give your child a chance to practise their communication skills, listen and talk to others in their class about something that matters to them. Here are some ideas to help your child prepare
- Point out some topics to help children connect with what they could talk about. For example: “You know a lot about space. Perhaps you could do a space-themed show and tell?”
- Examples – Give your children lots of ideas for what they might like to bring in or talk about. An object from home, a photograph or a favourite outfit! This could be about imaginary ideas as well. Perhaps they’d like to draw a picture to show – or chat about a favourite character, unicorn or sea monster.
- Name some people or places your children could tell the class about. For older children this could be someone inspirational they’ve learnt about at school. Their object could be a figure, a book, a postcard or a map.
We are also asking each pupil to bring in £1 for the children’s charity Speech and Language UK. These vital funds will help raise awareness about the 1 in 5 children in the UK with speech and language challenges. You can either give £1 to your child to bring in or click here to make a donation online. (Don’t forget to write our school in the donation message!) You can also donate by scanning this QR code:
Together, we can give every child struggling with talking and understanding words the skills they need to face the future with confidence.
Thank you for your continued support.
The winning house group, Nazareth, celebrated their TTRS victory in the recent house group competition by enjoying some well-deserved extra play!
Well done to all our certificate winners too!
